Brighton Le-Sands |
| The Brighton Le Sands residence is a strong example of passive solar, energy-efficient design, delivered by E-Con Group in collaboration with Ecologie Group Architects. Located near the water in Brighton Le Sands, the project was an eleven month knockdown and rebuild of a two-storey home designed for self-sufficiency and year-round comfort. Given its coastal location, construction focused on durability and thermal performance. The home was built with insulated lightweight steel framing and Hebel Power Panels for strength, insulation, and termite resistance. Sustainable features include solar evacuated tubes for hot water and a 16,000-litre rainwater tank to reduce reliance on mains water. Despite the challenges of building near the bay, E-Con Group delivered effective, cost-efficient engineering solutions. From early design to final fit-out, the team produced a durable, energy-efficient home built to thrive in its coastal setting. |
